BRONCHOSCOPY

Bronchoscopy has been used in veterinary medicine for many years.  It has  invaluable use in the diagnosis of respiratory disorders.  Different types and sizes of endoscopes are used for viewing within the tracheobronchial tree.  This type scoping helps to give the veterinarian information concerning airways, compression, collapses and dilation, as well as to obtain samples (biopsies, cultures, and cytology) to help with diagnosis.
